Veronika Mary

I got to take photos of my other new baby cousin, Veronika, today!
(Yep, two of my aunts had baby girls within a week of each other!)
I'm so excited that I got so much practice with cute little babies lately!

Unlike Mae, little Ronnie was wide awake during the whole photo shoot! I didn't mind, though, because awake pictures are just as cute as sleeping pictures. :)

I think my favorite is that last one... hehehe... :)

Rain

I took these pictures a while ago, and just remembered them now! 

It's been really rainy around here lately, and the raindrops inspired me to take some photos.  So I opened up the sliding door in the back and took pictures from indoors with my zoom lens!

I took this picture on the same day... just thought I'd throw it in here for you to enjoy...


 On a side note, I did something a little different with my pictures this time.  Instead of uploading them on Blogger, I put them on Flickr and just copy-and-pasted the HTML code into my post.  Is it just me, or does the quality seem a lot better this way?

Maebelina Grace

Today, I had the privilege of practicing newborn photos on my new cousin, Maebelina Grace. 

I'm not very confident with how these turned out.  I was shooting in less-than-desirable conditions, and Mae wasn't in a very deep sleep, so she would wake up when we tried to move her into cute poses, but I'm still learning, so I'm trying not to take it too hard that they didn't turn out perfectly.

Still, with such an adorable subject it was impossible not to get some cute photos!



Weazy bought her this ridiculous bow... it's cheesy, but cute :)

It was a good learning experience, and I'm so glad I got to at least attempt to capture her sweet little newborn-ness.

Little Buddy!

I can't stand how big Marek has gotten.  And I really can't handle how chubby he's gotten.  And cute.  And he keeps getting cuter by the second, I swear!



The little stinker wouldn't smile for me... all he wanted was to eat my camera and camera strap!




This one is especially for the aunties... "thunder thighs" doesn't even begin to cover it!





He looks good in the "1960's" effect, don't you think?

Girls' Dance Photos (pt. 1)

Two of my sisters (Mari and Weazy) and two of my cousins (Gabby and Bella) have a dance recital today.  They're all so darn cute...

I still have a few more photos to edit, so more to come later!

Self Portrait

I told my mom the other day I took some self portraits of myself.

I didn't realize what I was saying until after I said it.

"Oh, wow, self portraits of yourself!  That's so original!"

Anyway, here are a couple.  I don't normally like posting pictures of myself because it seems vain, but I like it when other people do, so I'm posting these for your sake.

That still sounds vain.

This one looks cool at first glance, but looks weird after a while... what do you think?

When I try a closed-mouth smile, either it looks like I'm not smiling at all, or I've got a crooked smirk like in this picture :P

I got my mom a rose for Mother's day, and roses are so photogenic, I had to do a little photo shoot!

I've never used textures before, but I think I should... they're really cool, but I don't know if I can do it well yet...
